Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of [Tourivo / Tourivobook] (the “Platform”), including our website [tourivobook.com], features, content, and services. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.


1) Definitions

  • “Platform” means our website, tools, and services.

  • “User” means anyone using the Platform.

  • “Customer” means a User who browses, books, buys, or enquires.

  • “Vendor/Provider” means a User who lists and sells services, rentals, tickets, products, or offers a business listing.

  • “Listing” means a rental, service, ticket, or directory profile published on the Platform.

  • “Booking” means a reservation or order made via the Platform.


2) Our role (Marketplace / Directory)

We provide a platform that connects Customers with Vendors/Providers. Unless clearly stated otherwise, we are not the operator of tours, rentals, transfers, events, or ticketed attractions listed on the Platform. Vendors/Providers are responsible for delivering what they offer.

We may help facilitate bookings, payments, and communication, but the contract for the service is primarily between the Customer and the Vendor/Provider.


3) Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least [18] years old (or the legal age in your country) to create an account and make purchases.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Keep your login credentials secure

  • Notify us of unauthorized access to your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.


4) Listings and content rules

A) Vendor/Provider responsibilities

Vendors/Providers must ensure Listings are:

  • Accurate and not misleading

  • Lawful and compliant with local regulations (licenses, insurance, permits, tax/VAT, etc.)

  • Priced correctly and include clear inclusions/exclusions and conditions

  • Updated when availability or pricing changes

B) Prohibited content

Users may not post content that is illegal, fraudulent, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful.

We may remove or edit content and suspend accounts at our discretion.


5) Bookings, orders, and payments

A) Booking confirmation

Some bookings are instant, others require vendor approval. A booking is only confirmed when you receive a confirmation on the Platform (and/or email/WhatsApp confirmation).

B) Prices and fees

Prices are displayed on Listings. Additional fees may apply (e.g., taxes, processing fees, delivery fees, port fees, park fees, etc.) and will be shown where applicable.

C) Payment processing

If online payments are enabled, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to their terms where applicable. We generally do not store full card details.

D) Chargebacks and disputes

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us and/or the provider, we may suspend your account while we investigate. We may request supporting evidence (messages, proof of delivery, etc.).


6) Cancellation, refunds, and no-shows

Each Listing may have its own cancellation and refund policy set by the Vendor/Provider. You must review and accept the policy before booking.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • No-shows are typically non-refundable

  • Refund timing depends on the payment provider and bank processing times

  • Weather/safety-related cancellations may be handled by rescheduling or refund, depending on the Listing policy and local conditions

Important: For Tickets (events, ferries, park entry), policies may be stricter and may include reschedule-only or non-refundable conditions.


7) Customer responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Read listing details, rules, inclusions/exclusions, and cancellation policies before booking

  • Arrive on time and follow instructions (meeting points, safety rules, age limits, ID rules)

  • Respect property rules for rentals and safety procedures for tours/activities

  • Use the Platform lawfully and respectfully


8) Vendor/Provider responsibilities

Vendors/Providers agree to:

  • Deliver services as described

  • Maintain required permits, insurance, and professional standards (where applicable)

  • Communicate promptly about availability, changes, and cancellations

  • Use customer information only to fulfill the booking and not for spam or unrelated marketing

  • Handle disputes in good faith


9) Reviews and ratings

Users may post reviews based on genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, discriminatory, irrelevant, or violate these Terms.


10) Intellectual property

All Platform content, branding, logos, and software are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or reuse our content without permission.

Vendors/Providers retain rights to their listing content but grant us a non-exclusive license to display and market it on the Platform.


11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for losses caused by Vendors/Providers, including service quality, cancellations, injuries, property damage, or inaccurate listings.

  • We do not guarantee availability, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.

  • Our total liability (if any) is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant transaction (if applicable).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.


12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims or losses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Platform

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your listing content (if you are a Vendor/Provider)

  • Your breach of laws or third-party rights


13) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts and remove listings if we believe you violated these Terms or created risk for the Platform or other users.


14) Changes to the Platform and Terms

We may modify the Platform or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.


15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Seychelles / United Arab Emirates / specify jurisdiction], unless mandatory consumer laws apply otherwise.
